A take-away coffee is a cherished morning ritual New Yorkers and Melbournians have in common but it’s one that has a negative impact on our environment through the waste created by non-recyclable disposable cups.
In 2007 Melbourne brother and sister team Abigail Forsyth and Jamie Forsyth designed a solution to this social problem, the KeepCup, a stylish, reusable, customizable coffee cup that comes in standard sizes designed to fit espresso machines.
In their first six months KeepCup sold 100,000 cups, that’s 100 million disposble cups saved!!
