New Girl is a community for teenage girls that are experiencing being in a new city, neighborhood, school, etc. that will bring them together and help them get more confidence, adapt into the new situation and take their background as a strength. It is a global community that acts locally, the first community will be New Girl Mexico, but it will eventually grow to other countries.
Seven in ten girls believe they are not good enough or do not measure up in some way. Now imagine how it is for new girls, (moving is the third most stressful life event). Girls in these situations are often lonely, shy, insecure, which can eventually lead to bigger issues like depression, and even drug and alcohol abuse.
This online platform will bring the new girls together and will have different resources to help them go through that difficult phase. Each girl will design her own profile, there will be counselors, tips, events and activities that will bring them together not only virtually but in the real world too.
